*Castile Soap:
Castile soap has its origins in the Holy Land (Aleppo center of the Levant Region) in the 11th century AD. Discovered by Europeans during the First Crusades, this soap revolutionized hygiene and became extremely popular. The Crusaders witnessed how soap was made during their time in the Holy Land and tried to reproduce it when they returned to Europe. During the production process of soap in Europe, the producers in Spain's Castile Region found the right formula and enabled the soap to spread in Europe. For this reason, this soap is known as Castile soap even though it originates from the Middle East.
Castile soap is a highly preferred product today, produced by many companies and it does not contain animal raw materials.
